Bob and Denise Whalan are living and fulfilling their lifetime dream after purchasing Olio Mio Estate in 2002. Their vision is to produce premium quality wine and olive oil through total control of the product from growing of the fruit to oil pressing and bottling.

Their first project was to plant a further 4,600 vines of Verdehlo and Tempranillo and to manage the two acres of Shiraz, which produced its first vintage in 2004. Olio Mio Estate wines are bottled under the artistic Stormy Ridge label.

In 1998 the Estate was planted with 2,500 olive trees. The grove has Italian, Spanish and Greek varieties for oil and table fruit. The Olio Mio range of unfiltered oil has a wonderful array of aromas and flavours in keeping with this award-winning region.
